Our Approach

Apollo uses industry recognized processes, and technology to tackle and solve tough engineering and design problems. We do this with talented engineers and a winning team dynamic, leaving ego at the door and encouraging out-of-the-box ideas to become reality.

Our expertise includes:

  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
  • Machine Design for Automation and Robotics
  • Amusement Attractions Design and Engineering

We are comfortable and prepared to execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) as needed to restrict distribution of information and maintain confidentiality.

5 Steps For A Successful Project

^
Concept

Preliminary Design

Upon contract execution, we begin the design process by outlining a basic 3D model. This model provides a high-level overview of major components, space allocation, and ergonomics. We hold regular meetings with your team to present ideas and gather feedback. The primary objective at this stage is to finalize a preliminary design, identify critical components, and secure alignment with all stakeholders.

^
Details

Final Design

Following approval of the preliminary design, we proceed with procuring components identified for early purchase and refine our concept model. Check-ins with your team are less frequent, but we continue to provide regular updates. Design documentation is compiled, and procurement begins. The primary goal here is to finalize all design details and secure buy-in from all stakeholders.

^
Procure

Purchase & Fabrication

With the design phase completed, our focus shifts to procuring or fabricating remaining components. Regular review meetings transition to brief bi-weekly check-ins. During this phase, we develop machine control programs, assemble and test control cabinets, and draft all necessary manuals, test plans, and installation guides.

^
Build & Test

Apollo Facility

We assemble the machine in our facility and test each subsystem. Modifications and adjustments are documented and rigorous factory testing is conducted to validate functionality and durability. Your team is invited to our facility in Logan, UT, for observation of factory testing before installation. Our aim here is to conclude the testing phase and obtain approval from all stakeholders.

Install & Commission

Your Facility

Upon successful completion of factory testing, the machine is shipped to your facility. Our installation team arrives on site and completes the installation process, followed by thorough testing and commissioning. Finally, your team is trained for operations and maintenance and, once complete, we hand over the machine to your team.
