Fabric Shaft-Seal Crimper

We were contracted by SynerTech Automation to design and build a fabric shaft-seal crimper machine. This machine is intended to augment similar machines currently in use at UTEX Industries. With this new design, several features and upgrades were added to relieve the burden on the operator and allow the associated process to be automated.

Our task was to document the original 40-year-old hydraulic machines, design a new electric system to perform the same function, and incorporate elements to facilitate maintenance functions.
